UNICEF Delivers Supplies To Flood Victims In Pakistan
Bernama: The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) has begun a campaign to bring important supplies to flood victims in Pakistan's Khyber Paktunkhwa region in order help local residents in dealing with dropping temperatures, China's Xinhua news agency quoted UN officials as saying here Wednesday.
Summer floods in 2010 impacted about one-fifth of the Pakistan, disrupting the lives of 20 million people and leaving more than 2 million homes destroyed. Many flood victims do not yet have proper shelter.
