Northeast U.S., Europe cooling use of energy to rise

Reuters: Energy demand for cooling is likely to be above average in northeastern parts of the United States this week, while cooling demand in northwest Europe will also rise, forecasters Meteorlogix said on Monday.

The weather in northwest Europe will warm up as the week goes on, pushing up cooling demand, then turn cooler going in to next week.

Warmer than normal temperatures for the time of year in northeastern parts of the United States all week should lead to above average demand for cooling, before returning to about normal over the weekend.
