Rain kills nine in Angola

AllAfrica.com via the Angola Press Agency: At least nine dead people and four missing is the provisional report on the consequences of rain that hit Luanda and its outskirts on Saturday morning.

This was said to ANGOP on Sunday in the urban district of Ingombota, Luanda, by the vice governor for technical matter, António Resende. According to him, the deaths were caused by collapsing of homes.

The deaths and missings were recorded in the urban districts of Samba and Kilamba Kiaxi, Luanda.

The GPL has created a technical group, whose mission is to prevent and respond those people affected by the rains, to survey the damage, targeting the various teams and give the necessary answers...
